  1. Inform of cost of £120 for vaccination course.
  2. Need to sign relevant form – Travel Hep B form.pdf.
  3. Money to be paid to receptionist in advance.
  4. Advise to make an appointment with the practice nurse.

NB: For those receiving the Hep B vaccination privately NO prescription needs to be issued as the drug will be obtained from the pharmacy by the practice nurse for administration. Subsequently the pharmacy will bill the health centre for it. Patients need to be informed that the £120 will cover the cost of the 3 vaccines, administration of the vaccine and blood test to check immunisation. IF booster doses of Hepatitis B are required then these will have to be paid for separately.
