Test Results
After a GP or nurse has ordered a test
for you, there is usually a short delay before we receive the results. The
GP concerned will usually then review and interpret these results, and add a
comment to the report for your information.
If we think further action is required
(an appointment, a repeat test, or
perhaps a prescription) we will contact
you with this advice. If there is
no further action required we will not
contact you, but you are welcome to
phone us for the results.
Contact us on (01506 423800) between 1pm and 5pm, or visit the Health Centre in person.
The receptionist will be able to pass on the comments from the GP.
We recommend you wait for a minimum of
FOUR WORKING DAYS after the test has been performed before calling us for the
results. Some test results take longer to come back, so please be patient
if there is no result back when you call. Below are listed the typical
times for most tests.
